After a couple of days of eating only fruit it was time to add some veggies into my diet. This might not sound that exciting to you but after 2 days of eating fruit I could hardly wait….
75% [intlink id=”72″ type=”post”]raw vegan diet [/intlink]has appealed to me for awhile but I was nervous about getting started, even the prospect of sprouting has scared me! Days 3-4 were started with a simple fruit salad of melon & pineapple for breakfast. Despite eating these fruits for every meal on day 2 I still really enjoyed it.
Dinner time is still carb free, a veggie stir fry with cashew nuts and sesame seeds. I stir fried roughly chopped carrot, white cabbage, green beans & broccoli with chilli, garlic and soy sauce with sesame seeds & cashew nuts thrown in at the end.
This is the start of my raw experience and I know my meals will be more creative in time the more I prepare. For now there is nothing wrong with simple raw food. Infact generally there is nothing wrong with simplicity when cooking, as long as it tastes GOOD.
