Our next market day is the 31st of October, so planning ahead we have decided to get in the ‘spirit’ (sorry!) of it all and have a Halloween themed stall. Expect to see Mini Bloody Beetroot Cupcakes,
as well as other suitably named mini cupcakes and also some gluten and wheat free Mini Banana Banshee Cupcakes. I’ve never made gluten free anything before so I was little apprehensive at first imaging all kinds of explosions and sinking taking place in the oven. It turns out that just substituting the normal flour for Dove’s Farm wheat and gluten free flour worked a treat. The texture was a little different, but still tasty, we shall see what Sash thinks of them tomorrow!
There will also be mini muffins, cakes, raw truffles and a pumpkin or two for good measure!
