14th December 2009
Yes it’s been a while since Animal Aid but we finally have broadband again (I think we lasted all of a week without it!), and unlike the London Vegan Festival I made a point of walking round and taking some photos of the fayre.
We had brilliant time, we had been used to standing in the cold twiddling our cold fingers waiting for people to come and along and buy at Cabbages & Frocks, but at Animal Aid it definitely felt like we were home again. The day just flew by and we completely sold out! Staying with the Christmas theme, Sasha made mince pies and Christmas cake muffins.
I rustled up some agave cupakes and some of my prize winning mini caramel cupcakes!
We also managed to raise £50 for our tombola charity Vegfam, so thank you very much to all the people that played (again and again!), and thanks also to the many companies that donated our fantastic prizes.
Don’t forget we are at Reading this Saturday for the Eco Veggie Fayre with cakes and tombola!
