Another Green Smoothie (or Juice)
Have you read Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko? This book could inspire any of us to be healthier. When every member of her family suffered ailments and western doctors were not offering her solutions she embarked on your own journey of research to help them all. Green smoothies are a great source of nutrition and in some case can be life changing. As an rule anything green works. Below is my favourite combination. Requires a juicer.
- 2 handful spinach
- 2 celery sticks
- 2 inch chunk cucumber
- 1 pear
- 2 cups of water
- Step 1 Juice all ingredients and serve immediately.
- Step 2 Alternatively, if you want some added fibre in your day then chuck this lot into a smoothie maker and the water.
