I have been told that my hair grows very fast, which probably means I should get it cut more often than the once a year I do. So here we are almost a year and a half since the last time I visited a salon and I sudddenly realise I can’t really go to any old hair dressers anymore. A quick google and I found some organic hairdressers in London after remembering seeing my first one in Brighton. I already knew Daniel Field‘s products were vegan, but of the other 3 I emailed only one got back to me regarding their vegan suitability. Jigami not only ticked all the boxes (some of the finishing products may not be vegan but I’m taking my own Tara Smith serum with me!) but it’s also in Soho. Since Sasha needed a hair cut too we decided to kill 3 birds with one stone, visit Mrs Marengo’s post hair cut and Aldo Zilli’s new vegetarian restaurant after with our new do’s (more on that tomorrow).
Anyway, when you have hair that get’s as long as mine it seems a shame not to do something with it. I have donated hair before to Locks of Love they do (or they did) promise to let you know when they received your donation but I fear the hair got lost in it’s transatlantic journey to Florida. Since then a UK site has appeared Little Princess that uses the hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or there is Banbury Postiche who according to Cancer Research will pay for your hair.
Sasha actually joked what more could I possibly donate from my body, so we are giving blood on Thursday ha ha!
