Little India

Sunday Sasha’s kitchen was converted into a little India. Under the pretence of inviting some work colleagues round for lunch we were all put to work making the lunch! She’s a cunning one that Smoo. (^.~)

I was delegated to make cupcakes, which I had planned to be batch of peanut butter and one batch of chocolate with vegan Oreo frosting but it turns out everyone was so full I was let off the hook.

Lady V was present, who I will be mentioning in an upcoming blog about what I have been eating at work and she became our tutor in chappati and pakora making.

First the chapattis:

Next the pakoras:

The batter is made from gram flour, water, lemon juice and spices

Could the day get any better? But of course, this is the world of THV! Mr Harker had jsut returned that very day with a bag of vegan goodies.
