Cooking for family

30 November 2010

Gone are the days of apologising before serving up vegan dinners for friends and family.  Apologising is something that should never be done anyway and I have no excuse for such behaviour.  So now as a loud, proud & awesome vegan cook I put the food out there and let them enjoy!

Well there was no modesty in that opening paragraph was there!  I should point out that I only serve food I have tried and tested a couple of times before.  Hee hee hee I am not quite that confident and indifferent about the response I get.  I always want diners to enjoy vegan food, so much so that the fact it is a meatless meal is inconsequential to the whole experience.

Winter is all about soups with freshly made bread, lentil hot pots with green veggies & custard puddings…..  So guess what I made?!!

Pea soup
No knead bread
Hot pot & veggies
Brussel sprouts from my garden!!!
Chocolate cake & custard
Home made chocolates
