Vantra Review

21 January 2011

There is a new vegan restaurant in London town called Vantra! Wahoooooooo. Well newish.  It is an existing restaurant with added extras. The owners of Vita Organic in Soho have moved to a new venue on Soho Street that has more space, which means they can offer a wider range of vegan delicacies and so expand on what they have been doing at Vita Organic.

Vita Organic is now VitaO and under new management.  VitaO is also transitioning into a new restaurant although last time I went they were still offer Vita Organic type food.  Confused yet?

So what is Vantra all about?  Eating for vitality, energy, health.  You are, after all, what you eat.  Its offers the same as Vita Organic was but in addition there will be a raw vegan sushi counter, expanded raw gourmet food, juices, mocktails and more.  Currently the restaurant is getting set up so not everything is on offer yet.  However the space is big, more spacious.  It has a super chilled vibe lit by candle light and there was live music last night.

Food wise it works the same too.  You order portions for £2 each and these come in separate bowls which you put onto your plate as you wish. Ooooh  there was raw crackers and dips.

The place was pretty busy.  I was there for about 3.5 hours and even had time for coffee and rose & berry raw cake!

I loved Vita organic and I love Vantra.  More space and more food is only a good thing as far as I am concerned.  I love the nutritious, healthy food.  It tastes sooooooo good.  Go and check it out.

Vantra, Soho

14th November 2011 I have been a bit slow in getting round to Vantra. I have to say the whole Vitaorganic/Vitao/Vantra caper has been a bit confusing for me. It is my understanding that the creators of Vitao (previously Vitaorganic, which I loved) had created […]
