'Summer' Party

11th September 2011

I won’t bore you with the details but the last month or two of my life has consisted mainly of work, stress, studying, stress, work, stress, exam, and a bit more stress. So on my first week study and exam free I decided to throw a little party for all the little people in my life (and their wonderful mums). It was a good excuse to catch up with some friends I don’t get to see as often as I like and celebrate my new found freedom.

Let me tell you throwing a party is not relaxing! I spent a day and a half cooking in preparation and although I was exhausted by the time everyone had gone home, I loved it. As one of my friends commented, it was totally ‘therapeutic’.

Of course no party is complete without some cupcakes, for the kiddies I went for sugar free using Sweet Freedom and a rice paper cake topper.

Lucky for us Mr Rude, Mr Stubborn and Mr Grumpy only made an appearance on the cakes. 🙂
