It’s not all bad turning 40 when you are given a £60 Mildred’s voucher. Imagine ALL THAT FOOD!
I didn’t know that you could even get a voucher. Did you? The thing is that you have to spend it all in one go… It helps if you either drink wine or eat a lot of food. I prefer the later option :).
Mildred’s is usually pretty busy. In the evening you usually have to wait for a table unless you get there early. Luckily enough we didn’t have to wait long even though we got there for 1pm.
And here comes to food. How much do two people need to eat and drink? Here follows the answer…
The brownie was a little dry and the ice cream was too hard (frozen), it would have been nicer if it was slightly softer and the chocolate sauce was warm. However it was still good and let me assure you the plate was empty…. licked clean in fact.
The was another juice consumed by my husband and a non vegan dinner. The bill was £61.82 including 12.5% optional tip.
A friend told me the other day that she has only just heard about Mildred’s. Well I nearly fell off my chair in surprise! Have you been? You should really go. Go now. Go right now!
Jim Broadbent sneaked in and sat at the back of the restaurant toward the end of our lunch. He was just in time to see us roll ut the front door!
