Some of the things I am loving at the moment:

♥ Thai and Lao. I am obsessed with this place at the moment, it’s located at Box Park where you can also get a bubble tea (so obviously I do). It’s the perfect distance from my work which means I can make it there and back in my lunch break. I really want to try the jungle curry, but go for the red. Every. Single. Time.

♥ Leather Lane Market. Usually I’m a regular at Whitecross Street Market. Recently I ventured down to Leather Lane where Killer Tomato is now doing burritos and I also managed to try out Warung Tempeh. An early bad experience has made me a bit weary of tempeh but Warung get the thumbs up!

♥ Freedom Mallows. They have rebranded and are looking mighty fine now! They very kindly sent us some samples which I have been making great use of.

Club Mexicana. I had the great pleasure of attending a Club Mexicana pop up supper club. They usual have a street food stall (which I am dying to try out) but had taken things up to the next level with a 7 course fancy dining affair. A few of my favourite dishes were:

Club Mexicana, Hackney

{ Charred leek, soya milk skin, hazelnut, blackberry and ancho }

{ Butternut squash, anatto, pickled walnut ‘nacho’, avocado and salted chilli being plated up }

{Toasted wheat curd, thyme syrup, passion fruit, puffed white rice }

It’s good to be vegan right now (I think I might actually be saying this all the time)!

19th September 2015 The Moveable Feast may well have been the best thing that ever happened to my lunchtimes. Reachable well within my one hour lunch slot I’ve been able to enjoy my favourite vegan foods. It’s like a teeny tiny market – no more […]
