L♥ve: Shoreditch Edition

25th June 2016

I don’t know exactly what has happened but since I discovered Box Park in Shoreditch was walkable during my lunch break (over a year ago) the vegan scene there has just erupted. Granted at some point or another over the course of the years you could find the odd vegan stall popping up Ms Cupcake, The Mighty Fork but there is now a constant presence, there was even a free from festival there recently (!). Here is what I have been loving in the good old East of London:

♥ Vegan freakshakes (!!) at Canvas Cafe.

Pomodoro E Basilico. Sara is there most weekends, Saturdays and Sundays but check her social media to avoid disappointment.

{ The Bad }

♥ Benny Buttons and his coconut pancakes. He also sells fresh coconut water and coconut jams. You can find his stall on Brick Lane every weekend.

Rubys of London at Spitalfield’s Market weekends only.

Joey’s Kitchen had a short but sweet residency at a Shoredtich bar offering hot dogs, nachos and an amazing grilled cheese sandwich.

Busaba Eathai have expanded their vegan options something I have been hoping for!

Inito have clearly marked vegan options including a soya mince roti.

Cereal Killer Cafe now have added a house cereal cocktail to their menu, although I like my own concoctions. *UPDATE* And now a vegan milkshake too – stay tuned!!

♥ After moving around you can now find Redemption Bar here. I haven’t tried the food menu at this latest spot but did enjoy a wasabi cocktail a few months back.
