Tasty Porridge Recipes
Porridge is such a good start to the day whether winter, spring, summer or autumn. If you are going to eat it everyday it is important to keep it interesting.
Apple & Sultana Porridge (Raw option)
Ingredients
- porridge oats
- water
- 1/2 grated apple
- handful washed sultanas
- 2 drops of almond extract

Cooked your porridge in water with the sultanas.

When cooked added the grated apple and almond extract to the pan, mix well and serve.
Raw option – do as above without cooking the oats.
Hemp Seed Porridge (Raw option)
Ingredients

oats
-
hemp seed
-
soya milk
-
small banana
-
spinkle of dried cranberries & mixed seeds.

Use equal portions of oats and hemp seed and cook with soya milk.

Once done serve in a bowl add the sliced banana, cranberries and mixed seeds.
Raw option – do as above, substituting water for milk and without cooking the oats and hemp seed.
