Carnevale’s for lunch
21 January 2010
The THV haven’t been out for lunch together for a short while (under a month!). This was amended yesterday when we nipped out for a tasty treat lunch at Carnevale on Whitecross Street, the veggie/vegan restaurant and deli in the city of London.
The restaurant is snug and is a good venue for an intimate meal. The last time we were here was in a large group of 8 or more and we ate inside, they catered for us really well but it just felt crowded. This time we were seated in their covered garden terrace, so cute & pretty. It is so bright, light and most importantly WARM.
We perused the menu quickly, had some bread & olive oil and drinks. There were two vegan options so we got one each and then tasted each others. Carnevale change their menu every 3 months which is good news, am loving the variety.
Lunch was great, service was swift. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert. Next time we will ft it in, only in the name of research though.

The mash with my homemade sausages was soooooooooo good. I wouldn’t mind having that again pre 3 month rotation. (^.~)
