Gooseberry Crumble

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 250g self raising flour
  • 125g ‘margarine’
  • 1kg gooseberries
  • 325g sugar
  1. Mix flour and margarine, when like breadcrumbs add 125g of sugar.
  2. Wash and rinse the gooseberries, cover with the remaining sugar and crumble in an oven proof dish.
  3. Cook for 45 minutes at 180ยบC.
