Happy Shopper!
29th October 2009
Today has been a shopping extravaganza! First off this morning our t-shirts for the Christmas Fayre arrived – thank you firstly to Fingerprints for donating not only the Traidcraft shirts but also printing them for us and secondly to lovely lovely Karen for bringing my design idea to life (oh and let’s not forget Sash who found the perfectly shaped strawberry!). I can’t wait to get on that stall now and wear it!!

Along with this package came my new Jinga’s they did a 20% discount for fellow Tweeters and it couldn’t have come at a better time as I have been after a pair for ages. The kiddies one are sooooo cute too so once Baby is walking I will be back for more.

After all that excitement I headed off to meet Sash so we could visit the Whitecross Market in London. Sadly the stall we were after wasn’t there, but our calling card cakes (carrot, chocolate & beetroot and caramel cupcakes, chocolate peppermint bites and a cinnamon and a pumpkin muffin) managed to go to a good home at another stall there raising awareness about health and vegetables! We also had a delicious vegan buritto which I have been dreaming about since the one I had at Lovebox.

Lucky for me Camden Town is on my way home so I stopped off to get a few bits and pieces from Wholefoods and then pick up some dinner from Inspiral Lounge (it is now impossible for me not to go there if I am passing through!). I went for the usual pick and mix and then regretted not getting the vegetable bake, but then was very happy when it all tasted delicious anyway! I have however since been informed that I should definitely go for the pizza next time, so watch this space.

Last thing to do before finally getting home was to pick up a gorgeous cup and saucer from a charity shop in Golders Green I had seen earlier in the week, perfect for housing Sash’s raw chocolate truffles. I was therefore flabbergasted when I got to the shop and gasp – someone else had bought it, both sets!! Golders Green has not let me down yet so I scoured the remaining shops and found this set for £5. On closer inspection the floral design is umm a bit dubious, but I love it anyway!
