Kiss Me Quick

These days it’s not to hard to find natural or even organic lip balms, finding one that is vegan can be a little harder. Most natural brands will use bees wax as an emulsifying ingredient, this is a secretion from the bee used to build the honeycomb cells in the hive. Some vegans are are not happy to consume bee products such as wax or honey, if you’ve never thought about why we have some information in our Why Go Vegan? section. I am a bit confused myself now about whether all this urban beekeeping that is being encouraged to protect our decling bee population is contradictory but that’s a whole different issue! So back to the lippies, here I have gathered what I could find of the UKs offerings (click on the photos to go to the websites/stockists):
Please note this next one should have a PG certificate (I am not joking!).
I have only tried the Visionary Soap Company out of these which I found dried my lips out, so I have been using my MuLondon Organic white choc truffle which is going to last me years if I use it only as a lip balm!
There is one American company that makes ONLY vegan lip balms that I have been dreaming of getting my hands on and by jove I managed to find a UK stockist HQ Hair! So here is my final contender Crazy Rumors and btw I want all of them!

A good list – thanks.
The Yaoh stuff is cheap but not overly effective. Lush is good – they sometimes do seasonal versions of it (last christmas they had one that tastes of cake).
