I was recently introduced to vegan squirt cream.  Omg, it tastes good.

There are some vegan substitutes I have tried but not really enjoyed.  Cheese is something I used to love as a veggie, when I became a vegan I never missed it.  I have tried faux cheese but it doesn’t taste good to me, I would prefer to eat other, more interesting tasty food.  I had heard about squirty cream from Mits but wasn’t really that tempted by it.  What changed?  Mits bought me some that was resting in my cupboard until we decided to make mini victoria muffins for the stall.

Everytime we bake something new we have to bake and taste as do friends, family and everyone else we know so we can get enough feedback to make it taste right.  This squirty cream is lush.  It also comes in rice whip!  Non vegans didn’t notice it was soya and a friend who deosn’t eat dairy could not believe that non dairy cream is available.  She lives abroad and I have promised to send a supply through to her.

Hold on though there is one problem.  The air canister has stopped working and the can is still full of cream.  I don’t want to throw it away but I can’t get any out.  Argh!  I have given my feedback on the site.  I want to know if this happens often and if they will replace my faulty product.  Watch this space and wish me luck …….  and don’t despair there will still be mini victoria muffins on the stall this saturday.  Mits is saving the day with some spare cream she has.  If these cakes go down well I might well try a chocolate version.  YUM!
