About a year and a half ago I wandered into a room filled with cupcakes – I had heard about this monthly gathering of people sharing cupcake love, so I thought I would give it a whirl.  Sure there were stacks and stacks of traditional cakes piled with butter-cream but my goodness was I surprised to find ANOTHER plate of vegan cupcakes!  Beyond excited I found out they belonged to Mitsu and Sasha, who are indeed two of the happiest vegans of them all.  Meeting the two of them and their passion for all vegan baked goods had a huge impact on my life – more than they know…

THV Vegan Cake fest

Date – Wednesday, 31st March 2010
Venue – Starbucks 48 Gracechurch Street EC3 (nearest train station – cannon street & nearest tube monument)
Time – 6.00-7.30pm

The first THV vegan cake fest will be happening in March.  Please bake or make some sweet treats to share with your fellow vegans over a nice brew or coffee.

If any non bakers want to contribute there will be a charity pot for the Esty nominated animal charity that we raised money for at the last tombola.  For more info on it read here.

Hey there and happy world vegan day to you!  THV have always said that we want to get our into the world and fight the vegan cause in a passive pleasant way, with the most powerful weapon we have people….BAKED GOODS.  Cabbage & frocks day 2 wasn’t as busy as a couple of weeks ago but there was enough sales to continue getting the good stuff we bake out there into the non vegan world. After a couple of months of searching to happy vegans have found a market at Baker Street where we can sell our muffins, cupcakes and other vegan treats on a regular basis.  Yay!  We hope that you are hungry.
