Vegan cake fest

Imagine walking into a room and seeing a table in the middle covered with cakes, muffins, cupcakes and a mixture of assorted confectionary. You gasp, it looks sooooo very appetizing and you want to gobble it all up… You walk over to the table dubiously, what are the chances of any of this feast being vegan? Your eyes pop out of their sockets, literally, when you check the ingredients and its ALL vegan!!
Last night was February’s iron cupcake challenge and the theme was love. The dedicated bakers we are we both baked super special vegan love treats. The event was very busy with 37 entrants and do you know how many vegan entrants there were?.. Two, our two.
So THV have come to the conclusion that we need a London vegan cake fest once a month where we all bake for each other and my opening paragraph will become a real room somewhere… Take a moment, re read the first couple of sentances and imagine….. Did that get your mouth watering?

I would really like to participate if this becomes a regular thing (please!) but can’t do anything for the next few months. Good luck with it though.

Cake Fest is happening on 31st March 6-7.30pm at Starbucks, 48 Gracechurch street near cannon street train station. There will be a charity pot for any non bakes who want to contribute something.
This is a temporary home whilst we suss out the response. Hopefully see you guys there.
