Ooooooh carrots, picked early they are little, sweet & yummy.  Take me to a veggie patch NOW….  Handily I have one in my garden where there are an abundance of carrots growing.  Infact there are too many growing together which means that they all don’t have enough space to grow.

There are too many carrots gowing together they need to be thinned out – this means pulling some of the carrots out so that the others have enough space to grow.  I look through the carrot tops and look for the thickest leaves which seems to be the biggest carrots.  What do you think?  There are some odd shapes but hey this is organic vegetable growing!

Time to top, tale & clean these carrots.  The tops are supposed to be full of nutirents so I can keep those for juicing (and will google that piece of info just to check!).  I treated myself to a special veg cleaning brush to scrub the dirt off which means nice clean carrots.

So what would you do with these carrots?  Steam, fry or bake?  Hmmm I want to bake them with garlic & cummin and salt & pepper in a squirt of olive oil.  I really like baked carrots, if you have never tried them do it.  You will enjoy them.

These taste soo good!  I put them on a plate and munched through them like bugs bunny…”What’s up Doc?”  Lovely carrots all for me, me, me….
