Christmas at Manna 2011

I am hoping that I have created a new tradition - Christmas dinner at Manna with my girls, every year, definitely something worth establishing.
The menu was the same as last year, but having enjoyed it so much before I was not disappointed, in fact I think I liked it even more this year. So enough of the words here is what I had to say about it in 2010 and here is how it looked last week:
Starter: truffle & prosecco risotto cocette
Main: sage & chestnut wellington
The four of us managed to cover all the available desserts.
Banoffee trifle - glad to see it back on the menu and this time it has chunks of chocolate cake in it!
Mexican chili chocolate cake
Fruit salad with raspberry sorbet
Cranberry & orange cheesecake
And to finish off…
Petits fours
The £32.50 set menu also includes a glass of champagne, apertif or house wine and tea or coffee at the end and is available until Christmas Eve.
