Use your Noodle

Do you slurp when you eat your noodles? I do, it drives Mr Ikeda crazy but it’s the Japanese way (that’s what we tell him anyway). I’m not talking Super Noodles here, noodles should come with soup unless their fried so they reaaalllly slurp when you’re eating them. This is the way of the samurai ramen. (more…)

Itadakimasu in Japanese is said before every meal, it kind of gives thanks to whoever prepared the meal and also notifies everyone that you are about to start eating! My marathon of dining out (which it scares me to say is still not over) was added to today by Itadaki Zen in King’s Cross. It’s only been open about a month and a half and sells organic vegan Japanese food. (more…)
